9/19/2004 Folks, for your information, I have listed below the genealogies from the gospels of Matthew and Luke and the ones listed in the Tanach. You will see the contradictions of both Matthew and Luke when compared to the Tanach, this will prove that the "New Testament" Scriptures are NOT flawless/inerrant, nor are they infallible. However, in this study we will not go further than Zerubbabel, because there aren't any direct genealogies from the line of David listed after him in the Tanach. Although, even in this we have complications, because the Tanach leaves off with the genealogies of the sons of Josiah that were ruling the kingdom of Judah when the Babylonians came. It is only later that we can see that Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel is a part of the line of David, so we do not directly know who the missing links are between them from the Tanach, versus other ancient Jewish sources.
We will also start from Abraham instead of Adam because Matthew doesn't go further back than Abraham.
BEGINNING OF THE DAVIDIC DYNASTY
= Direct
Geneology
from David
END OF DAVIDIC DYNASTY,
THE KINGDOM OF JUDAH WENT INTO EXILE, TO BABYLON
So, we can clearly see that the so-called "New Testament" is full of errors and contradictions when compared to the Tanach, the STANDARD.
Furthermore, for those of you that write off the errors of the "New Testament" by saying that the Genealogy found in Luke is that of Mary to link Jesus up to King David, that is for those of you that erroneously believe in the virgin birth. Don't you realize that you cannot have Zerubbabel in that list, because he can only be the son of one stock, not several!
Friends, check the prophecy from the Tanach, that is the standard! Isaiah 7 has nothing to do with the messiah, but King Ahaz, for Immanuel was a boy that was born around 738 BCE, just years before the death of Pekah and Rezin. For it was prophesied by Isaiah that before this child knows right from wrong, these two kings would be dead, in order to show King Ahaz that Yehowah was truly with King Ahaz, hence "Emanu-el" = "HaShem is with us" and more precisely, "HaShem will be with the Kingdom of Judah and not of Aram, nor the Kingdom of Israel."
The Gospel of Luke, therefore, is very much in error. He does not even have Israel's history correct in regards to the lineage of the messiah!! The messianic prophecy in 2 Samuel 7 says that the moshiach must come from Solomon and not simply David.
As for other arguments to go against the proponents of the virgin birth, it is this:
Luke does not say something like this, "Because Mary was a virgin, yet in her virginity she was found to be pregnant - because she was the daughter of 'so and so' it was he that was a direct descendant of David, through whom Jesus is linked to David." Which should be the case if Jesus were truly born from a virgin, yet still linked to David. Because in ancient Israeli theocratic culture adoption has no bearing on real lineage, nor in real life for that matter. So, let's cut out the religiousness.
No, rather this is what Luke says, "And Jesus himself began to be about thirty years of age, being (as was supposed) the son of Joseph, which was [the son] of Heli......" [AND SO ON......... all the way to David and to Adam].
In truth, Luke does not mention Mary in the beginning of the genealogy, rather he mentions a false JOSEPH lineage. Therefore, preachers are deceiving their poor pupils to think that this list is talking about Mary's lineage. NON-SENSE !!!! Please do not believe falsehood from non-Judaic pagan preachers who do not know the scriptures, nor teach them correctly. The whole myth surrounding the virgin birth started from Gentiles who never known Jesus. Who, in their ignorance, read Isaiah 7:14 in the Greek Septuagint and cut this verse out of it's context and ran with it. This whole chapter has nothing to do with the messiah, but with trouble that Ahaz was experiencing from two kings. Besides, the Hebrew [that is the original bible or the real bible] does not say "virgin" in the passage, but "young lady." Isaiah uses the word "virgin" five times in his writings, but not here. The two virgin birth narratives are entirely fabrications from non-Jews that never knew Jesus and they contradict each other tremendously in their narratives!!!
Thank you,

"Matthew" fails to list 3 people from the Tanach right here
A place that follows the rabbi that grew up in Nazereth, Israel. A rabbi that practiced the faith
and religion of his ancestors, Biblical Judaism, and taught others to follow in his footsteps; he
obeyed his God, the God of Y'israel, faithfully. He is Yehoshua ben YHWH & David, the very
one that the prophets spoke of, the moshiach - the very son of the Blessed One. What he
practiced IS obviously the way to salvation! He shall come again and he shall govern !!!
As you can see in the lists of Matthew and Luke both of them have Shealtiel and Zerubbabel. The reason I point this out is because a son can only be begotten from one man, not two different men. Matthew says "Shealtiel is the son of Jeconiah." Whereas Luke says, "Shealtiel is the son of Neri !!!"
OOPS! ANOTHER ERROR IN THE SO-CALLED "INSPIRED CANON."
Who in the world are these 19 people!!
