From Anna Rayan:
This is the 2nd page of "He Shall Govern.com" in which there are indepth torah studies and bible stories. Likewise, true rederings of either the Hebrew or Greek words and/or verses
(1.) This website tells the truth about the Jewish messiah (moshiach). (2.) That holiness comes through the observance of the full torah and condemns the trinity doctrine, as well as the 'saved by grace' notion taught by Paul [ the FALSE apostle]. (3.) It PROVES that the messiah in NOT God - yet, Yehoshua, is the moshiach, the only begotten son of the only God, the God of Israel !!!
Page 3, This page lists the rebukes I made to churches and organizations about their wicked ways, deeds and befiefs. Some of these rebukes are directed at picked out individuals (who claim to be someone special - yet are not).

"I am a Christian and my best friend is Pagan. She is a good person and has never done anything evil. I enjoying learning about her religion, but out of love for my god I do not practice it. I'm confused as to why the bible says magic is evil though. Clearly there was some kind of magic in the bible. The Nile turned to blood, Moses turned his staff into a snake, Jesus made water into wine. There's tons of script in the bible that talks about magic. So why is it 'evil' for us to do it? And some magic (if not all, I'm not incredibly educated about wiccans and pagans, etc. Sorry!) is derived from natural energy. Which God created, right? Confused! Some one help me!"

Why does the bible say magic is evil?
ANSWER FROM:

Mare-ga'al ben Yaakov

Ma'am,

I do not mind correcting you because you are unaware of your own blindness. Don't you know that "Bad company corrupts good character"?

Look, I am a Jewish man, a man of HaShem [the God of Israel]. The thing with many "Christians," is that they are never taught the Torah [the law of heaven], where even Jesus said, "do not think that I have come to abolish the law;" yet, they will believe Paul that taught the opposite of Jesus, for he said that the law was abolished = in Ephesians 2:15, "by abolishing in his flesh the law with its commandments and regulations." That being said, Paul laid the foundation for all "Christians" to go to hell. Again, that being said - "Christians" are therefore not taught the holy laws of HaShem - the God of Israel. This law is also known as the "law of Moses."

Well, if people were taught the law they would know that man was not just made in the image of HaShem, but also in His likeness. Thus, we were made with a portion of faith that can "move mountains" [let me just put it this way].

HaShem is not a man that He should lie; thus, when He gave us Jews and Israelites laws and statutes, these things were not just empty words. For if the God of Heaven and Earth commanded us not to do certain things, that in and of itself proclaims on the roof tops that those things commanded against CAN actually be done, if one so desired to rebel against those commands.

Thus, if HaShem said, "Do not commit necromancy" in Deut 18:11, which is similar to "don't go to a medium," in Leviticus 19:31 - that person can in fact talk to those that have died. For HaShem is not a person who just talks to the air or in vain. Meaning: His words are not without reason.

Someone mentioned that Pharaoh's servants performed particular deeds. Yes, that is true. For in that story the God of Israel - who is NOT a trinity by the way [click here] - had Moses appear before Pharaoh on behalf of the people of Israel. While at Mt. Sinai HaShem gave Moses the order to give a few signs to Pharaoh in order to prove that he was in fact sent by Yehowah - the God of Israel - the one and only God. Yehowah was unknown to Pharaoh and the polytheistic society there, at least on a very low level - even though over 600,000 Israelites lived in Goshen. Yehowah, however, did things in such a way so that Pharaoh would in fact be hard-hearted about letting the people go. What I mean is this: HaShem knew what the wizards could do; thus, He - at first - only let Moses perform deeds that were slightly greater than these wizards - this was done so that Pharaoh would pretty much say, "Ah, I'm not impressed - my wizards can do similar things. Watch!" Thus, they did - though the rod of Moses ate their rods, but that wasn't enough to impress Pharaoh - so he hardened his heart and would not let the people go. These wizards mimicked similar actions with the water being transformed into blood (but nowhere close of being on the same scale), and also to have the frogs of the Nile all of a sudden multiply (but not on a large scale). After these three things Yehowah decided to overwhelm the Egyptians through Moses, not that Moses did anything all by himself, though he was the one doing such things. In truth, it was Moses and his brother Aaron.

Point: while genuine wizardry is real [and even proven to be real by this story], the holy law of HaShem says this: "not all truth is allowed to be learned."

Similarly, "necromancy" or the art of being a "medium" is also genuine. It is only genuine, if and only if someone truly learns the "craft." The thing is, according to the Torah - the Holy Law of Heaven - you are not even allowed to visit, nor to learn about such things to know if someone is actually succeeding in the craft. Thus, according to the Torah and the ancient theocratic society of Israel, when it was "heard" and "proven" that someone was meddling, dabbling, learning or even succeeding in such a craft they were put to death immediately.

In 1 Samuel 28,  we find another successful and proven act of witchcraft, being necromancy. Some argue that the medium was talking to a demon. However, such people do not take the scripture literally, for the narrator said that this was in fact Samuel the prophet, not satan.

Someone might ask - How do people even learn about such things? Or, where did all this originate? It has been rumored in ancient Israel that these "crafts" were given to man by the angels that left their appointed position to marry women and have children with those women, as we find in Genesis 6. Here is the verse, "the sons of God saw that the daughters of men were beautiful, and they married any of them they chose..... the fallen ones (nephilim = "to fall" in Hebrew) were on the earth in those days—and also afterward—when the sons of God went to the daughters of men and had children by them. They [the offspring] were the heroes of old, men of renown."

That being said, it was said in those ancient times that because these angels know certain things we do not know, and how things work, they revealed these secrets to men, which can be accessed by the faith that all men been endowed with, since man was made in HaShem's likeness. For even Yehoshua [Jesus] himself said, "If you have faith even as small as a mustard seed and so say to a mountain, 'be thou cast into the sea,' it shall be done unto you." By this 'faith,' is how we approach the God of Israel when we repent and intercede for others. Thus, our faith is directed in any path our 'free' will desires it to go, whether for evil or for good. Faith, however, does NOT give us righteousness as Paul claims, though. It is by DOING what is commanded in the Torah that makes us righteous and holy.

Now as for you, ma'am, in the HOLY TORAH it says that "YOU MUST be holy." You must be set apart from the heathen and pagan and all those that do not keep the holy torah. Thus, for you to call a pagan "my best friend" makes you hell-bound, for not separating yourself from such people. Why? It very obvious to the discerning that your hear more to what this "pagan" has to say than what the God of Israel has already said. For what you just said in your question reveals that you do not even have a clue to what the difference is between "magic" and miracles; or, that which is holy and impure.

Like I said at the beginning, "bad company corrupts good character;" not that you had good character to begin with. Nonetheless, if you desire to be a true follower of the rabbi that was born in Bethlehem, you need to walk as he walked. Yehoshua [Jesus] practiced Judaism, not anything else. Thus, his religion is the path to salvation. Here is what John says in 1 John 2:6, "He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked." Remember, just because someone might acknowledge him to be the moshiach [messiah/christ] of Israel does not mean anything as far as "your righteousness [Matthew 5:20]" goes. For satan knows this also. Sinners are not saved, nor shall they ever be saved. No, it is only when a person ceases to be a sinner can that person be granted salvation.

Thus, be holy and cease being this person's friend. You must only be friends with those that are righteous. Remember this one fact, "what and who you approve of tells whether or not you love darkness or if you hate it." It is clear you love it, not necessarily because you want to, but because you have never seen the light yet, not until now. Therefore, my dear, if you have never seen light before, you are obviously in the dark.

Thus, to answer your question: "Why does the bible say magic is evil?" Your outright answer is this:

According to the definition that is found in the Torah - all manner of faith that is not directed solely torward HaShem Himself or that does not abide in the commandments of the Torah is evil. Another, way of putting it is like this: Yes, you do have reproductive organs, you can either get married, thus doing what is right in the eyes of HaShem - thus abiding in the Torah; or, you can fornicate, commit adultry, incest, bestiality or homosexuality - which would be against the Torah. In both circumstances it is you - ma'am  - that has the free will to choose what path you so desire to walk on.

TO JW

You are an absolute uneducated person by the PROOF that your reading comprehension is extremely poor.

You even quote the verse that debunks you - to your shame,

Let's look
Hebrews  1:6, It says,
"And let ALL the angels OF God worship him."

It does not say, "angels of the angel or archangel." It says, "of God" Likewise, it says "all" not most, nor some."

Likewise, it is you - JW - that is in error.

Again, you display your ignorance, Look at the verse again in Heb 1:13,
"For unto which of the angels said He at any time, Thou art my son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a son? And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world...."

What you and other JWs can't read there is that the "firstbegotten" is a not an angel, regardless of what rank angels might have!!!. For that is the point of the author!!!

Another thing you have poor reading comprehension about is this:
At the beginning of the book of Revelation it says this, "The revelation of Jesus Christ," not the "revelation of Michael."

Likewise, to make your eyes finally pop open, you cannot have "Jesus" mentioned by name in a book and then have Michael also mentioned and conclude they are the same person!!!! You have been deceived and lied to!!! You grew up in this pagan sect, thus you been trained in satan's doctrine, thus this is how you view things. Now repent oh sinner.

Let me say one more thing about Jude, what you ALSO greatly miss. Thus, proving once again your high degree of ignorance.

Did not Jesus cast out demons from people and places with ease while on earth? Then why in the world can't Michael do so if Jesus is really Michael in the book of Jude? For Jude says that Michael said, "the Lord rebuke you," not "Leave," as Jesus did to the man in the synagogue. Lets look:

Luke 4
....in the synagogue there was a man, which had a spirit of an unclean devil, and cried out with a loud voice, Saying, 'Let [us] alone; what have we to do with thee, [thou] Jesus of Nazareth? art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art; the holy one of God.' And Jesus rebuked him, saying, Hold thy peace, and come out of him. And when the devil had thrown him in the midst, he came out of him..."

Again, it is amazing that the disciples CAN cast out demons, but Michael was having problems according to Jude.

For your INFO SIR,
You need to re-read Revelation 12 again. For we clearly see that Michael and the "man child" or "christ" is certainly NOT the same person. Here are the quotes for you, Okay:

"And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman [Israel] clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars [the twelve tribes]: And she being with child cried, travailing in birth, and pained to be delivered..... And she brought forth a ***man child,*** who was to rule all nations with a rod of iron: and her child was caught up unto God, and [to] His throne..... And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven..... And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night. And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death........ And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ."

Thus, we see that there are four different people in these verses:
1. The God of Israel
2. the man child / Lamb / the Christ / Jesus Christ
3. Michael and his angels
4. Satan / serpent / the dragon and his angels

You cannot have a book called "the rev. of Jesus the christ" and have two separate people in the same passage and call those two people one and the same individual.

That's like arguing with a wicked trinitarian. For in their case, you cannot have two chairs or thrones and then believe in monotheism, for it is WRITEEN:
Yehowah said unto adonai, "Sit at My right hand [Ps 110:1]."

Thus, your reading comprehension is extremely poor and Michael is CLEARLY not Jesus the son of God!!

Case closed!!!

Let Solomon's words be fulfilled, "Judgments are prepared for scorners, and stripes for the back of fools (Prov 19:29).

Ahhh - the truth sets people free!!!!!! Thus, this paper on
