A deep anaylsis into whether or not there truly are two different gospels; one to the
Jews and a more liberal one to the Gentiles.

Who is Cornelius?
According to the book of Acts in chapter 10, this man is a Torah-observant Gentile. He is claimed to be pious and holy before the God of Israel and the Jews; yet, he was lacking one thing. This was the fact that he did not realize that the promise of whom the prophets talked about, the moshiach, had already come and gone and that his name was Yehoshua/Jesus.
In this quick reference about CorneIius I will point out particular key words in the Greek to show that he was how I just described him.
In this story that is about to be told, you must not consider it a light thing for our master, teacher, and adon, that is Yehoshua/Jesus, to send a holy angel to someone. Likewise, to tell that person how their prayers and gifts "come up as a memorial offering before God," and then tell him what to do in order to gain salvation. This was because at this point, at this visitation, Cornelius was a lost, yet, righteous man.
This is what Peter means in his epistle when he writes,
For the time [is come] that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if [it] first [begins] at us, what shall the end [be] of them that obey not the gospel of God?
And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?
When Peter uses this word "righteous", he means those that do the Torah but deny Yehoshua is the promised moshiach or don't realize that he is the moshiach, as was the case here with Cornelius.
Now, let us read about this man and see why Peter did err in what he said in Acts 15:
Acts 10
1 At Caesarea there was a man named Cornelius, a centurion in what was known as the Italian Regiment. 2 He and all his family were devout and feared the God of Israel; he gave generously to those in need and prayed to God regularly. 3 One day at about three in the afternoon he had a vision. He distinctly saw an angel of God, who came to him and said, "Cornelius!"
4 Cornelius stared at him in fear. "What is it, sir?" he asked.
The angel answered, "Your prayers and gifts to the poor have come up as a memorial offering before God. 5 Now send men to Joppa to bring back a man named Simon who is called Peter. 6 He is staying with Simon the tanner, whose house is by the sea."
7 When the angel who spoke to him had gone, Cornelius called two of his servants and a devout soldier who was one of his attendants. 8 He told them everything that had occurred and sent them to Joppa.
Peter's Vision
9 About noon the following day as they were on their journey and approaching the city, Peter went up on the roof to pray. 10 He became hungry and wanted something to eat, and while the meal was being prepared, he fell into a trance. 11 He saw heaven opened and something like a large sheet being let down to earth by its four corners. 12 It contained all kinds of four-footed animals, as well as reptiles of the earth and birds of the air. 13 Then a voice told him, "Get up, Peter. Kill and eat."
14 "Surely not, sir!" Peter replied. "I have never eaten anything impure or unclean."
15 The voice spoke to him a second time, "Do not call anything impurethat God has made clean."
16 This occurred three times, and immediately the sheet was taken back to heaven.
17 While Peter was wondering about the meaning of the vision, the men sent by Cornelius found out where Simon's house was and stopped at the gate. 18 They called out, asking if Simon who was known as Peter was staying there.
19 While Peter was still thinking about the vision, the spirit said to him, "Simon, three men are looking for you. 20 So get up and go downstairs. Do not hesitate to go with them, for I have sent them."
21 Peter went down and said to the men, "I'm the one you're looking for. Why have you come?"
22 The men replied, "We have come from Cornelius the centurion. He is a righteous and God-fearing man, who is respected by all the Jewish people. A holy angel told him to have you come to his house so that he could hear what you have to say." 23 Then Peter invited the men into the house to be his guests.
Peter at Cornelius' House
The next day Peter started out with them, and some of the brothers from Joppa went along. 24 The following day he arrived in Caesarea. Cornelius was expecting them and had called together his relatives and close friends. 25 As Peter entered the house, Cornelius met him and fell at his feet in reverence. 26 But Peter made him get up. "Stand up," he said, "I am only a man myself."
27 Talking with him, Peter went inside and found a large gathering of people. 28 He said to them: "You are well aware that it is against our law for a Jew to associate with a Gentile or visit him. But God has shown me that I should not call any man impure or unclean. 29 So when I was sent for, I came without raising any objection. May I ask why you sent for me?"
30 Cornelius answered: "Four days ago I was in my house praying at this hour, at three in the afternoon. Suddenly a man in shining clothes stood before me 31and said, 'Cornelius, God has heard your prayer and remembered your gifts to the poor. 32 Send to Joppa for Simon who is called Peter. He is a guest in the home of Simon the tanner, who lives by the sea.' 33 So I sent for you immediately, and it was good of you to come. Now we are all here in the presence of God to listen to everything the Lord has commanded you to tell us."
34 Then Peter began to speak: "I now realize how true it is that God does not show favoritism 35 but accepts men from every nation who fear Him and do what is right. 36 You know the message God sent to the people of Israel, telling the good news of peace through Jesus Christ, who is Lord of all.
That word, I say, you know, which was published throughout all Judea, beginning in Galilee after the baptism that John preached— 38 how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and power, and how he went around doing good and healing all who were under the power of the devil, because God was with him.
39 "We are witnesses of everything he did in the country of the Jews and in Jerusalem. They killed him by hanging him on a tree, 40 but God raised him from the dead on the third day and caused him to be seen. 41 He was not seen by all the people, but by witnesses whom God had already chosen—by us who ate and drank with him after he rose from the dead. 42 He commanded us to preach to the people and to testify that he is the one whom God appointed as judge of the living and the dead. 43 All the prophets testify about him that everyone who believes in him receives forgiveness of sins through his name."
44 While Peter was still speaking these words, the Holy Spirit came on all who heard the message. 45 The circumcised believers who had come with Peter were astonished that the gift of the Holy Spirit had been poured out even on the Gentiles. 46 For they heard them speaking in tongues and praising God.
Then Peter said, 47 "Can anyone keep these people from being baptized with water? They have received the Holy Spirit just as we have." 48 So he ordered that they be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ. Then they asked Peter to stay with them for a few days.
v.2. "devout" = this word in Greek is "eusebes", it means:
pious, dutiful, devout and godly.
This is no light thing among Jews and Yehowah because if you are pious in Yehowah's sight, you had to be obeying His covenant; thus, meaning Cornelius was already a convert to Judaism, like Ruth was.
"feared" = this word in Greek is
"phobeo", it means: to be struck with fear, to be seized with alarm
It was then for this cause, because he was holy, that Yehowah had His angel give him a personal message in order for him to know that Yehoshua is the promised one, the moshiach, so that he would have a chance to be saved. This was if he believed and continued to walk in righteousness through the Torah.
v.4 "as a memorial offering before God" = because this person converted to the path of the prophets, that is Judaism, by obeying His Torah, this is only how such a thing could be accomplished or obtained
v. 15 "that God has made clean" = Many church-goers and grace believers think and assume that this is talking about food, when it is not; rather, it is talking about Cornelius. Remember, this is a vision, not a commandment from the Lord, likewise the whole chapter is about Cornelius - nothing else. For even Peter is seen in v.17 trying to understand what it all meant. Thus, one still needs to keep kosher. As far as commentary goes, let's look at what the "voice" said. He said, "Do not call anything impure that God has made clean." How is it then that Cornelius is made clean by the God of Israel? It was done because Cornelius kept His commandments which are found in the Torah, as the verses teach, as I pointed out. For if one obeys the Torah, one frees oneself from sin. Remember, atonement only brings forgiveness from sinning, it does not keep the person from sinning. This is also why Jesus' death is rendered meaningless if the sinner never ceases from sinning.
One thing I want to point out here in this whole story when compared to what occurred in Acts 15 during the great "discussion/disputation" is that what was said of Cornelius, who was a Gentile, was NOT said by any man but by an angel that was sent by the God of Israel Himself. Thus, according to the angel, Yehoshua and the God of Israel - this story contradicts the mere "opinion" of the apostles in Acts 15:28. Thus, what the angel and the "voice" said about the Gentile Cornelius being clean is consistent to what Yehoshua said in the Gospels, in that all men must obey the Torah and also believe he is the very son of the Eternal One, in order to be saved. And we see by the end of Chapter 10 here that Cornelius does in fact accept the fact that Yehoshua/Jesus is the promised moshiach, the very son of the Living and Eternal God. Thus, the message of the "Church" became corrupt that day for the Gentiles (Acts 15), in order for them to be saved. Not once did these men seek the face of Jesus. No, it just "seemed" good to them to write what they did. Thus, from that time forward the apostles, at least a few of them, taught there were two gospels, one for the Jew and a separate more liberal one for the
Gentiles.
v.28: "it is against our law for a Jew to associate with a Gentile or visit him": This is pure rubbish. With this we see that Peter is following the awful customs of the Pharisees. For Yehoshua already told him to go "to all nations" and preach the truth, not just to the Diaspora (the dispersed Israelites throughout the world). Likewise, if that were the case, why would Elisha go into a Gentile woman's home in 2 Kings 4; moreover, Daniel the prophet who worked for and lived with the Babylonians.
v.28: "God has shown me that I should not call any man impure or unclean." Again, here is more nonsense from the mouth of Peter. For he is lying in the name of "God." Why? Because this is NOT what the God of Israel said. Rather, this is what the "V/voice" truely said in v.15, " Do not call anything impurethat God has made clean," not, "I should not call any man impure or unclean," as Peter here claims!!!
v. 31, "Cornelius, God has heard your prayer": this would contradict the proverb of a holy man and prophet that said, "If anyone turns a deaf ear to the law, even his prayers are detestable (Prov 28:9)," that is if Cornelius was a Hellenistic Gentile/ heathen or pagan Gentile vs. a converted Gentile that followed the ways of the holy prophets, that is holy Judasim and a life of keeping the Torah.
v. 22 Here we see that Cornelius is in fact a Gentile, not a Jew. Yet, he is righteous because he is a convert to Judaism. Because of this, he is also loved by Yehoshua and he wants to save him. Thus, he sends an angel to him to tell him what he needs to do in order to be complete in the faith that he is following which is torah-observant Judaism; so, that he can be given salvation on the day of Judgment. Now, if we look at v. 19 we can see this truth, for it says,
"...the spirit (being Jesus) said to him.... ...'Do not hesitate to go with them, for I have sent them.' " Notice, that "the spirit" does NOT also tell Peter something like, "tell the man, because he is a Gentile, he does not need to observe my laws and commandments, but only four simple things from that law, being: "You are to abstain from food sacrificed to idols, from blood, from the meat of strangled animals and from sexual immorality. You will do well to avoid these things." This is as Acts 15:29 claims. Thus, he can still murder, commit arson, kidnap, be a drunkard, gossip, be a thief, have idols - just not eat food that might have been sacrificed to them and so on... NONSENSE !!
v. 34, "...now I realize... ...who fear Him and do what is right " Is it only now that Peter realizes this fact? He should have known this from Yehoshua himself, or even from the whole book of the prophet Jonah. Did not Yehoshua say, "One greater than Jonah is here?" in Matthew 12 when he says, "The men of Nineveh will stand up at the judgment with this generation and condemn it; for they repented at the preaching of Jonah, and now one greater than Jonah is here." The thing is, as we see in v.28, Peter is somehow slightly tainted by customs. Nonetheless, I highly doubt Peter is referring to the four requirements in Acts 15:29 - that came years later after this point, when he says in this verse, "...and do what is right." Especially, when Peter, nor the other disciples/apostles, nor even Yehoshua trained this man in righteousness; yet, it is only after Yehoshua has ascended into heaven that he sends a personal messenger to Cornelius in order to make him complete in righteousness. Thus, who trained Cornelius to walk in ways of righteousness, so much so that he recieved a personal messenger from Yehoshua or his God, Yehowah? It was the Pharisees that trained him!!!! And, what did the BELIEVING Pharisees say two times in Chapter 15 of Acts?
They said, "Unless you are circumcised, according to the custom taught by Moses, you cannot be saved."
Likewise, "When they (Paul, Barnabas and the converted Pharisees) came to Jerusalem, they were welcomed by the church and the apostles and elders, to whom they (Paul and Barnabas) reported everything God had done through them. Then some of the believers who belonged to the party of the Pharisees stood up and said, "The Gentiles must be circumcised and required to obey the law of Moses."
v.5: "...the Pharisees stood up..." They stood up and rebuked the people (i.e., Paul and Barnabas and whoever else) because they did not like what they were saying, because the BELIEVING Pharisees realized that these Gentiles from Antioch and elsewhere are still lost. This is because they never converted to any righteousness through Paul and Barnabas, they simply came to understand that Yehoshua is the promised moshiach, which is not good enough as we can clearly see with the facts surrounding Cornelius!!!
"...and required to obey the law of Moses" - as the prophets even say:
"Ye shall have one manner of law, as well for the stranger, as for one of your own country: for I [am] the LORD your God (Lev 24:22)."
And, " And foreigners who bind themselves to the LORD to serve him, to love the name of the LORD, and to worship him, all who keep the Sabbath without desecrating it and who hold fast to My covenant - these I will bring to my holy mountain and give them joy in My house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and sacrifices will be accepted on My altar; for My house will be called a house of prayer for all nations (Isaiah 56:6-7)."
Thus, we see that these BELIEVING Pharisees are correct, not the apostles, in Acts 15. At this stage in the book of Acts Peter is correct when he uses the words that he does, for he has not met Paul yet.
v. 38 is NOT a proof text that the trinity does in fact exist, which was invented about 150 years after the resurrection of Yehoshua. Rather, because trinitarians do believe this way I must define this verse for them. Being: The spirit of the Father / the Father's spirit rested on His only son, Yehoshua of Nazareth
v. 42: "He commanded us to preach to the people" Does this not confirm Matthew 28 where is says, "go and make disciples of all nations... ...and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you?"
Notice it says, "obey everything" vs. "four things?"
v. 43, Again, do you notice what is being said? Peter just testified to the fact that the prophets said that in the future, or after a set time by the Father, forgiveness and only forgiveness, NOT righteousness, shall and will only be obtained by faith in Yehoshua. For righteousness comes by walking blamelessly, which is also how one becomes holy. For even John writes,
"We know that we have come to know him if we obey his commands. The man who says, "I know him," but does not do what he commands is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But if anyone obeys his word, God's love is truly made complete in him. This is how we know we are in him: Whoever claims to live in him must walk as Jesus did (1 John 2)."
Remember, Yehoshua was NOT a Baptist, Catholic, Pentecostal, a member of Calvary Chapel or etc... Rather, he was a Jewish man that practiced and taught the faith and religion of his ancestors, as Moses, David, Hezekieh, Jonah, Elijah and many other righteous men, which was Torah-observant Judaism!!!
v. 44, let me translate: "Yehoshua's spirit came on all who heard..."
Likewise, because Yehowah alone is the God of Israel, whereas Yehoshua is a made being, the spirit of the God of Israel dwelleth within Yehoshua; thus, if Yehoshua comes upon someone, so does the God of Israel - automatically. Thus, fulfilling the words Yehoshua said in John 14:20, "On that day you will realize that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you." Notice, Yehoshua only mentions two main individuals here? That is because there is NO trinity and so Yehoshua is NOT "GOD." Rather, only his Father is the God of Israel.
Click HERE for more truths why Jesus is NOT the God of Israel !!!
v. 46 "For they heard them...." This is the "sign" and "proof" that the Father and His son dwells in a person, without this "sign" accompanying the believer the Father, nor His son is abiding in the believer. This, however, has nothing to do with salvation on the day of judgment, as many, if not all, 'Pentecostal' preachers say. For the disciples went without this baptism 10 days after the son of the Blessed One left this earth and sat down at the right hand of his Holy Father. They were not lost for those 10 days. In truth, this is what Yehoshua said concerning this 'sign:'
"It is not for you to know the times or dates the Father has set by his own authority. But you will receive power when the holy spirit (being Yehoshua after he is glorified - this is why the 'spirit' does not come until he leaves) comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth."
This 'power' shall display the things that Yehoshua did while visiting us folks on earth.
v. 47-48 Because of Peter's urgency of wanting Cornelius and the others with him to be baptized, we know for a fact that Baptist preachers and others like them lie when they say, "Baptism is
not necessary for salvation, but it is only an outer appearance deed for the community." No, it
is a commandment because Peter "ordered" them to be baptized.
This word "ordered" in Greek is: "prostasso", it means:
"to command", "to ascribe", "to order", and "to demand."
What is the purpose of baptism or the 'sign' that it displays?
Most of all the biblical feasts are a remembrance of how the Israelites either came out of Egypt directly or the time they spent in the desert because of leaving Egypt. Baptism does the same thing. When the Israelites left Egypt on the night of the 15th of Aviv, Pharoah had let them go to go and worship Yehowah finally. Thus, Pharoah expected them to come back. Yehowah had different plans, however. Because of these facts, when the Israelites entered into the Sea of Reeds / Red Sea they were still slaves / bondmen of Pharoah. Yet, when they came out of the sea, they were a free nation because Yehowah slayed all those that held them captive. Thus, they were now free to serve Yehowah freely. Thus, when one is baptized one recalls that event, to proclaim by water or with water, he will now serve the true living God and set himself apart to Him. Thus, baptism is a part of the requirements for forgiveness of sins. This is why there was such an urgency from Peter to Cornelius.
Thus, Cornelius was already a righteous man because he converted to Judaism and was taught by the Pharisees to obey the Torah, and so was circumcised, long before Peter met him or got ahold of him. Moreover, because Cornelius was righteous, the Father or His son sent a messenger to him to have him understand he still lacked one thing. This was that he needed to understand that the promise of Judaism has already come and gone, that being Yehoshua the moshiach. So when Peter came, Cornelius accepted Yehoshua as the promised moshiach, because unlike other Jews - the angel already told this righteous man to heed the facts that this man named Peter will present to him..
